Okay, by now every US poker player should already know what they’re looking at in terms of gambling. PayPal is out, Click2Pay proved to be a donkey, and credit cards and eChecks just don’t seem to cut it with a lot of sites outside of the big three – UB, PokerStars and Absolute.

One underrated method that’s been gaining popularity recently, however, is eWalletXpress. And not only is it gaining popularity with US-friendly casinos, but some are even starting to give members their best casino bonus if they use this eWallet as a preferred depositing method.

What exactly is eWalletXpress? Well, for those unfamiliar with it, this method is basically PayPal with a little less popularity to date. It’s not big for online shoppers, but gambling sites take full advantage of it.

It works simple enough. You open a free account with the site and put your money in there either via credit cards or a bank transfer, and then you can transfer money from your eWallet into a wide range of poker rooms and casinos to get your Hold’em fix or to play video slots.

eWalletXpress is exactly like Neteller, for those familiar with that eWallet before it started acting ignorant.

Most poker players are probably going to join at least one of the big three sites mentioned up top, but there are hundreds of other poker sites out there accepting US players. And since they’re all competing with one another, gamblers would do well to browse their options and to find the best incentives and formats for them.

Even if you find that the site you want to join accepts eChecks or credit cards, it’s still a good move to go ahead and get eWalletXpress. It doesn’t cost anything to keep it open, and keeping a few bucks in there makes it convenient when you want to join a new poker site.

The best part of eWalletXpress, however, is that you can withdraw your game winnings straight into that account. This means you won’t have to deal with the anxiety of putting money into your bank account, and you won’t have to wait weeks for a check to be mailed. You can simply transfer it into your eWallet and have the money handy at your disposal.

The recent spate of poker room closures should serve as a timely reminder to online poker players that it is always wise to check out a poker room before deciding to deposit their hard earned cash in there.

Just because a poker site has got a great bonus, or other attractive offer, is not enough reason to lump your cash in there without a second thought.

Before a poker room closes, or, worse still, goes under, there are always rumors about it on the internet. Sometimes a simple search on the name of the poker room with ‘problems’ after it can reveal lots of useful information.

Reading poker review sites can be a good way to get an idea about the trustworthiness of any particular poker room too. So long as you can trust the reviewers. Although it is fair to say that when a poker room folds, the affiliates are at much at rick of losing out, if not more so than the players.

Even so, many affiliates will simply put up any old review on their site and move on to the next room. You should read at least two reviews before deciding on a poker room.

And do that ‘problem’ search – it can save you a lot of money!

Playing Three Card Poker

As its name implies, Three Card Poker is played with only 3 cards. It is really two games in one: “Pair Plus” and “Ante and Play”. The player can choose to play either one or both games in each round. One of the game’s biggest attractions for poker players who want a relaxing game is that there is no continuous betting as in most poker games.

In the “Pair Plus” game, the player places his initial bet in the center of the table, three cards are dealt to him and to the dealer. A pair or better wins. If there are no pairs, then the hand with the highest card wins.

In “Ante and Play”, the player places an ante bet in addition to his initial bet before he receives his cards. If the player believes that his hand is better than the dealer’s, he can raise by placing an additional bet equivalent to the ante bet. In order to meet the player, the dealer must have a qualifying hand, meaning that he must be holding at least a queen high combination or better. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, the player wins. If it does qualify, the hand with the highest value wins.

Online Three Card Poker

Online Three Card Poker is especially satisfying to the lone online gambler. The game does not have the tense atmosphere of a table poker game where the player is betting against other players. There is not much chance or point in bluffing because the player’s cards are always displayed at the end of the hand.

Playing online three card poker allows you to play for free until you get the hang of the game or if you just want to have some free poker fun. But if you want to do some more adventurous gambling, then move on to play three card poker for real money. When you play three card poker for real money you will have the satisfaction of seeing your online casino account taking in the pay outs. There are no pay outs when you play online three card poker for free.

High Entertainment

Three Card Poker is a highly entertaining and fast and easy poker variation. Many gamblers prefer to play three card poker for real money at an online casino because online three card poker allows them to get the poker thrill without all the poker tension.
